• Heat is the main enemy of batteries. Monitor the battery temperature, and do not get carried away by high-speed charging. Do not use the camera at a temperature of +50°C and above. If you do not have the opportunity to move to a cooler place during shooting, try to reduce the amount of energy consumed by the device: if possible, reduce the screen brightness, and turn off indicators, GPS, and Wi-Fi modules. For faster cooling of the camera, simply remove the battery.

• Cold, unlike heat, is almost non-threatening for this type of battery. But if GoPro is turned off under the influence of cold temperatures and does not turn on, the best solution is to try to warm it up in a warm room or at least in the jacket's inner pocket. Again, for a faster warm-up, remove the battery from the camera.
